The story of Providence RI is the story of the decline of manufacturing in the United States. These small factories that have gone out of business dump unsold inventories at a couple of warehouses in town, but also some of the shops still in business have vintage inventories. In fact, before Lincoln Findings went out of business we bought up a ton of their vintage chunky hoops.
